“The wound is the place where the Light enters you.” ― Rumi

This is work is about love and it is about self preservation. What makes the nature of our existence magic? What makes our ancestral and cultural bond transcend this physical world and become the very oxygen we breath? What keeps us alive?

Over the last few years I have been taken aback by the amount of energy it takes for a single human being to survive. There is a sense of tiredness and a sense of fatigue, from life itself, that I have noticed among those close to me. It is seeing this fatigue, and how at times we break free from it that moves me to photograph what it looks and feels like for us to simply be.

This work is still a work in progress, it is to be continued and it is a conversation.
